Terms of service
Updated August 22, 2026
The rules for using Taskia, written to be understood without a lawyer.
What the service is
Taskia is an assistant that automatically answers the messages a business receives on WhatsApp, Instagram and its website, using the information that business provided, and notifies the owner when someone leaves their details.
What each side provides
We provide the working service and its upkeep according to the plan.
The business provides the information about what it does, and is responsible for it being correct and current. The assistant answers with that information: if a price is out of date, the assistant will quote the out-of-date price.
What the assistant does not do
The assistant does not invent prices, timelines or terms the business did not provide, and does not hand out contacts other than the business’s own. When asked something it does not know, it says so and refers the person on.
Even so, the assistant can be wrong. It does not replace the owner’s judgement and is not a binding commercial offer: deals are closed by a person.
Pricing and payment
The subscription is monthly and the amounts are the ones published on this site. Setup is paid once, and what it costs depends on whether the business does it or we do.
What Meta charges for WhatsApp messages is billed directly to the business at Meta’s rate. We do not resell those messages or add a markup.
Cancelling
The business can cancel at any time by writing to info@taskia.chat. There is no minimum term and no penalty. The service stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
Misuse
We may suspend the service for a business that uses it to deceive people, to send unsolicited bulk messages, or for anything illegal or against Meta’s rules.
Availability
We work to keep the service available at all times, but it depends on outside providers (Meta, Google and the servers). We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and are not liable for lost profits arising from an outage.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay. Any question, write to info@taskia.chat.
