Privacy policy
Updated August 22, 2026
Taskia is an assistant that answers a business’s messages. This page explains what information passes through our system, who it belongs to, and what we do and do not do with it.
Who is responsible
Taskia is a service operated by [RAZÓN SOCIAL, se completa el 01/09/2026], tax ID [RUT, se completa el 01/09/2026], registered at [DOMICILIO, se completa el 01/09/2026], Uruguay. For any question about this policy, write to info@taskia.chat.
There are two different people here
The business is our customer: it hires Taskia and provides the information about what it does.
The visitor is whoever writes to that business on WhatsApp, Instagram or its website. The visitor is not our customer: they are the business’s customer.
For conversations between a business and its visitors, the business decides what happens with that data and we only process it on their instructions.
What information passes through the system
What the business provides:
- A description of what it does, the areas it covers, its terms and the material it sends out.
- An email address and a phone number to receive notifications.
- What the visitor writes: the content of their messages, and the name and contact details they choose to leave.
- Minimal technical data so the service works and is not abused: IP address, date and time, and a conversation identifier.
Conversations belong to the business, and we do not read them
Conversations between a business and its visitors belong to that business. We do not use them to sell anything, we do not pass them to third parties, and we do not train models on them.
We do not access those conversations on our own initiative. If the business asks us for help with a specific case, our system requires a written reason before showing anything, records who went in and when, and leaves that record visible to the business. We cannot delete it.
Who we share it with, and why
For the service to work, information passes through providers acting on our instructions and only to deliver the service:
- Google (the language model that drafts the replies).
- Supabase (the database holding conversations and business information).
- Vercel (the servers where the program runs).
- Meta (delivery of WhatsApp and Instagram messages).
- Resend (sending email notifications to the business owner).
- Upstash (the timer that fires the notification when a conversation goes quiet).
- Cloudflare (the anti-robot check on this website form; it sees the IP address of whoever fills it in).
How long it is kept
Conversations and contacts are kept while the business has an active service, because they are its record of customers.
When a business cancels, its data is deleted within 90 days, except anything a legal obligation requires us to keep.
How to ask for your data to be deleted
If you wrote to a business that uses Taskia and want your data deleted, write to info@taskia.chat from the email address you used, or stating the phone number you wrote from. We confirm the deletion within 30 days.
If you are the business and want your account fully deleted, ask at info@taskia.chat and everything is deleted within 30 days.
You can also ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, or have it corrected if it is wrong.
Minors
The service is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not target minors and do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If something important changes, the date above is updated and businesses with an active service are notified.
